HOLIDAY LOOKS: THE PIN UP GIRL

Now all you got to do is sing, 'Santa Baby!'

hihihihi! Don't mind the rollers

THE LIPS
I lined my lips with MAC Brick Lip Liner and I filled it in with MAC Ruby Woo

THE EYES
Line your lash bed with a black liquid liner and slightly wing it up. I used MAC false lashes just on the outer eye area to make my eyes look sleepy.
I re - applied Gesso on the brow bone for highlight.
Don't forget you beauty mark! :)

THE EYES
Use and deep brown E/S on the crease. Don't apply the E/S all over the crease, instead concentrate on the outer V.

THE EYES
I primed my eye are with INGLOT Eye Make Up Base and followed it up with MAC Gesso. Marilyn hardly had shimmer on her eyes.

THE BROWS
I used Graftobian Eyebrow pencil followed by Benefit Brow Zings in Light. Don't forget to set it with a BrowGel.

THE BASE
I used Kryolan TV Paintstick, MAC Studio Fix Concealer and MAC Studio Fix Powder for my base.

For those ladies, who would like to really vamp it up this Holiday Season, there is nothing like a look that is inspired by Everyone's Favourite Pin Up Girl, Marilyn Monroe. :)

Hope you ladies like this look

NATURAL GLAM HOLIDAY LOOK

THE COMPLETE LOOK! :)

THE LIPS
I lined my lips with MAC Spice Lip Liner and filled it in with Laura Mercier's Lip Velvet in Naked Rose and topped it with NARS Turkish Delight Gloss.

For the base, I used Make Up Forever High Definition Foundation and Setting Powder.
I applied NARS' Blush in Orgasm and used INGLOT's Shimmer Block for highlight.

THE EYES
I used a light pink shimmery E/S for the highlight.
Instead of a black liner, I used Coastal Scent Gel Liner in Truffle on my lash bed.
I curled my lashes and applied 2 coats of Rimmel Glam Eyes mascara on my upper and lower lashes.

THE EYES
I used MAC Paint Pot in Fresco Rose as a base on my lid and on the lower lash line.
I used Coastal Scents Ultra Shimmer E/S for this look. I applied a shimmery pink shadow all over the lid and on the lower lash line.

For the contour, I used a matte soft brown E/S and applied on the crease.

This is the look that I sported for Hunny's Exhibit Opening. I called it Natural Glam. I used mainly pinks for the look. I apologise for the lack of The Base photos. Forgot to take them

Hope you guys like the look!:)

BECAUSE I LOVE MARIAH CAREY: BYE BYE INSPIRED MAKE UP

Now, if i can only sing like Mariah! hehehehe

The Finished Look

THE LIPS
I applied MAC Lip Paint in 52.

THE LIPS
I lined my lips with MAC Spice Liner and blended it with my lip balm.

Its all bout layering to achieve the glowing, tanned complexion of Ms. Carey :)

THE EYES
I applied my falsies

THE EYES
I used Mikyajy Felt Tip Black liner on my lash bed but I left the lower lash line unlined.

THE EYES

THE EYES
Blend with a MAC 217 Brush

THE EYES
I used INGLOT AMC eye shadow in to make the shape of my crease.

THE EYES
With a MAC 239 brush I applied INGLOT AMC pigments in Gold all over my lid and on the lower lash line.

THE EYES
I used Bourjois Liquid Shadow in Gold as my base. I applied it all over the lid and on the lower lash line.

THE BROWS
I took the lightest Body Shop Brow Pencil to trace the shape that I want.
I set the brows with Benefit Brow Zings in Light and applied Mikyajy Brow Gel to set it.

THE BROWS
I wanted lighter brows for this look without having to bleach them. I took a spooly brush with a little bit of concealer and brushed it all over my brows.

THE BASE
The key to achieving the look of Mariah relies heavily on a beautifully applied base, which means you need to layer it.
I used Kryolan TV Painstick and MAC Studio Fix Concealer. I applied the INGLOT Illuminator on the bridge of my nose, cheek plane before setting it with Kryolan Loose Powder.
I used Christian Dior Bronzer on the apples of the cheeks and dusted INGLOT AMC Shimmer brick on the bridge of the nose and cheek plane.

I love Mariah Carey! Her songs, her voice, her attitude about the weight issue and most of all, I love her looks! Have you guys seen the Bye Bye video? She looked hot in the gold hues! :)

And because I love her, I made one of the looks that she sported as part of my Holiday Looks.

Hope you like it! :)

PRODUCT REVIEW: KRYOLAN TV PAINTSTICK AND LOOSE POWDER

KRYOLAN TV PAINTSTICK AND TRANSLUCENT POWDER

A Favourite among Make Up Artists and now I know why! Who would not love a foundation that is easy to carry around, a heaven to blend, the ultimate in coverage yet makes you feel that you aren't wearing anything?

The Kryolan TV Paintstick is a 25ml foundation heaven! At AED110 (USD 30), its worth spending for a foundation that gives you this much cover with a very little amount. You can play with the type of coverage that you like. If you want it a little sheer, you make use a wet sponge to blend. For this review, I just blended with my hands.

Because of the creamy texture of the foundation, I'd say that dry skin will work well with the Paintstick. If you have oily skin, make sure to use a Mattifying Pre Make Up Base and of course the Translucent Powder and you are good to go.

The distributor here in Dubai (Kontar - located in Deira) pretty much has a wide selection of colours, though they are facing out some of them and replacing them with the new collection.

The Translucent Powder is 60g and is in a big container. You don't have to lug this around. Transfer some of it in a smaller container that you can put in your vanity kit for touch ups.

Though it did not say that its an HD powder, I find that its finish is very 'HD'. Makes your skin look very flawless and again it did pass my 'no touch up test.' The Powder is very fine. It seems as if it has been milled a million times! Kind of reminds of the T. Leclerc Powders.

Sorry, can't remember the price of the powder. :(

All in all, I give this product a 10 out 10 for quality, packaging and price. I included packaging because the products coming in huge containers makes it economical by making you transfer only what you currently need in your vanity kit.
